About Hong Kong Yachting

Hong Kong Yachting is a family-owned and operated business founded by an Australian and New Zealand family with a passion for boating that spans three generations.

After relocating to Hong Kong in 2006 to establish a wine business, we quickly realised how much we missed life on the water. That passion led us to sail our first yacht more than 4,000 nautical miles from Australia to Hong Kong and launch Hong Kong Yachting.

Over the years, we have completed the remarkable journey four more times, bringing unique Australian-built vessels to Hong Kong and creating one of the city’s most distinctive charter fleets. In 2020, we were preparing to sail a fifth vessel, a 76-foot catamaran, from Australia to Hong Kong. Tragically, just before the departure, co-owner James Hargraves was killed in a car accident. Today, Jessica Hargraves continues to lead the company in his memory, ensuring the passion, values and vision that built Hong Kong Yachting continue to thrive.

Our fleet includes Jungle Jane, Tarzan and Ibiza, three of the most unique charter boats available in Hong Kong. Unlike typical Hong Kong junk boats, our vessels have been extensively customised and renovated specifically for Hong Kong boat charters. With huge open decks, oversized swim platforms, premium lounge furniture and flexible layouts, they are ideal for everything from junk boat parties and private celebrations to corporate events, weddings and large seated dinners.

In addition to operating our own fleet, we are also the direct booking agent for more than 50 junk boats, yachts and luxury cruisers across Hong Kong.
